Accessibility

Last Updated: October 18, 2026

User Sage aims to meet WCAG 2.1 AA across the product, and the participant experience comes first: the people taking studies should never be the ones locked out by the tool.

We check this website with AAArdvark, an accessibility testing tool that scans pages against the WCAG criteria, and we fix what it flags. Automated scanning only catches part of what can go wrong, which is why the reporting route below matters.

Research methods differ in how accessible they can be. Some, like a five-second test, are visual by nature. Where a method has limits, we would rather say so than pretend otherwise.

If you are a researcher who needs an accommodation for a participant, or a participant who hit a barrier in a study, email hello@usersage.com and tell us what happened. Reports go into the work queue, and we will tell you what we can do.
